Grateful — And Wanting To Give Back (Free Mentorship Sessions)

Free Mentoring Sessions
Back when I was first freelancing just out of university, I wore every hat: creator, manager, marketeer, product. Like many entrepreneurial freelancers, I spent a lot of time in my own head. Um, it was pretty unhealthy. 😅

I think what helped me stay grounded most was mentorship from those who personally invested in my career + my own being of service to others.

Over the summer break I decided to use my career experience — 15+ years leading learning, brand & culture projects & programming at companies like Apple, lululemon, adidas, Zalando, On + others — to create a space where folks just starting out can ask questions, reflect, try things out.

So I’ve decided to give back with free mentoring sessions. I want to set aside time for 1–2 folks just starting out in L&D or facilitation — at no cost to them.

We’ll meet once a month for an hour over three months; space where you set the agenda + use the time however is most meaningful. 😊

My only request: you lead the experience. 💫

I’ll choose 1-2 people for each of these windows:
🍂 FALL: September–November
🌷 SPRING: February–April
☀️ SUMMER: May–July

🗓️ And I’ll select the first two folks by next Friday, Sept 12.

👉 If this feels like something for you — or if someone in your network might benefit — here’s a short form to put your name forward or share.

Thanks for any help getting the word out. 🙌🏻

One last thought: I still believe deeply in DEI even if it’s not the trend of the moment. If you’ve ever felt overlooked in learning or facilitation spaces, or wondered if you’re “the right person” for something like this, I especially encourage you to apply! 💪
