P.A.T.H. | H for “HONOR” (video)

H for HONOR 💡 Over the past few weeks, I’ve been walking through the P.A.T.H. framework — an acronym I coined to approach my own self-development with more clarity & intention:

P: We’ve taken time to PAUSE — stepping back to reconnect with what matters.
A: We’ve worked to ALIGN — identifying + ranking our core values.
T: We’ve set a TARGET — envisioning a chosen future + extracting long-term goals from that vision.

H: To HONOR this work means showing up regularly in ways that sustain it — through habits, rituals & behaviors that move us forward.

🎥 In this short video, I share how I’ve applied H for HONOR in my own life + tools & strategies that help me stay accountable (+ how I saved my houseplants from total annihilation).🪴😬

How does honoring our vision support our self-development?
⭐ Builds self-trust — keeping commitments to our future selves reinforces confidence.
🔥 Turns aspirations into reality — because a vision without action is, well, a dream. 😉
🌊 Reduces overwhelm — focusing on small, repeatable habits makes progress sustainable.
🚀 Creates momentum — the more we honor our commitments, the easier it becomes to keep going!

How can we honor our vision & goals?
🌀 Integrate our values into everyday cadences
🌿 Focus on small, consistent progress
🔦 Reduce distractions & clear space for what matters
🔄 Reflect, adjust & recommit

👉 Here are the tools & books mentioned that have helped me build consistency in honoring this work:

- "The Self Journal" by BestSelf Co → Grounded in neuroscience-backed planning, including: 90-day goal setting, time-boxing for priorities, daily reflection + gratitude and weekly reviews.
**Thanks to my good friend, Rafael Treviño, for introducing me to this years ago!

- "Atomic Habits" by James Clear → How habits work in the brain & how to make them stick.

⁃ "Make Time" by Jake Knapp & John Zeratsky → How to design your day to protect what matters most.

- "How to Calm Your Mind" by Chris Bailey → How to minimize overwhelm to better balance peace & productivity.

- "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People" by Stephen Covey → A classic that helped me map out my days based on different responsibilities I have.

💫 How are you honoring YOUR goals? What’s one small action you take daily to stay accountable to your future vision? Share YOUR favorite resource in the comments — or reflect privately. Either way, it’s a step forward! 🙌
